Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole Draft Mineral Sites Plan
Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole Draft Waste Plan
Town and County Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012
Dear Stakeholder
I am writing to let you know that we are consulting on two emerging planning documents for a ten week period, ending at 5pm on 23 September 2015. These are:
• The Minerals Sites Plan, which includes preferred sites for mineral extraction, an area of search for sand and gravel and further guidance on mineral site safeguarding www.dorsetforyou.com/mineral-sites and
• The Draft Waste Plan, which contains the spatial strategy, vision, objectives, policies and site specific options to address the key waste management needs that have been identified www.dorsetforyou.com/waste-plan
To aid this period of consultation we will be using an interactive version of the consultation document. You can comment on the plans by following the links above to the consultation portal pages. Once registered, you will be able to log on to the system at any time to track the progress of the comments that you have made. We would strongly encourage you to use this method of commenting.
The documents will also be available at the offices of Dorset County Council, the Borough of Poole and Bournemouth Borough Council and offices of the district/borough councils. In addition, a series of planning exhibitions are being arranged throughout Dorset where copies of the documents will be available and officers will be present to answer questions about the proposals. Details can be found on the pdf below.
If you have any queries or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact the Policy Team on 01305 228585 or 22857 or email mwdf@dorsetcc.gov.uk
