10th April 2012
The review of Community Governance arrangements in the area of Holdenhurst Village is now entering the second stage of consultation.
Following public consultations and meetings, Bournemouth Borough Council has now reviewed all the responses received and produced a draft recommendation. The draft recommendation is for the formation of a Parish Meeting to be known as the 'Holdenhurst Village Parish meeting'.
The Council would welcome the public's views on the proposals. Full details are available on the Council's website www.bournemouth.gov.uk
During Stage two, from 1 April to 31 May 2012, anyone with an interest in the review has the opportunity to put forward their views on the draft recommendation. A final decision will then be made by a meeting of the Council in September following publication of the final recommendations in July 2012.
