Reducing alcohol related anti-social behaviour. Consultation on the proposed Borough-wide 'Designated Public Places Order'.
Tackling alcohol related crime and disorder is a key priority for Bournemouth Borough Council. One way of tackling this is to create a town wide Designated Public Places Order, which gives the Police additional powers to tackle anti-social behaviour caused by people drinking in public.
The attached documents gives further details of the proposal.
In order to introduce this new power, we need to consult with people who might be affected by the order in the town. It would be of great help to us if you could give us a few minutes to read this information and answer the questions.
We have provided a freepost address for you to return your responses, or alternatively you can respond at archive.bournemouth.gov.uk/DPPO could you please do so by 2nd December 2013.
