Cllr Anne Rey confirms:
The officers have ordered the new play equipment (17th December 2009) with a 6-8 week lead in time on delivery, most of the suppliers closed down over the holiday period. The tender package was sent out on the same day and is due back on the 5th of January. Once the returns from the 5 tenderers are received the officers will be selecting the chosen contractor.
On selecting the contractor they will be starting the works on site as soon as the play equipment has arrived. Hopefully this will be some time during the last fortnight of February.
